Blane Curley

Obituary of Blane Scot Curley

Blane Scot Curley was born September 20, 1995, in Canton, Illinois, to Frank and Tami (Malott) Curley.

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Tami Curley, his grandparents, Dean and Verla (Steele) Malott; his brother, Dustin Curley and wife, Rachel; two nephews; his aunt Christina (Curley) Wherley and husband, Joe; and his uncle Patrick Curley and wife, Robyn.  He is also survived by the love of his life, Pairn Sheslay Floyd, and a few very special great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

After moving to Camdenton, Missouri with his parents when he was four years old, he attended Camdenton schools and graduated in 2014.  He went on to serve six years in the Missouri National Guard.

Blane was a busy kid growing up. He raced motor cross for years.  He enjoyed wrestling, Taekwondo, cage fighting and sky diving. As an adult, Blane’s love for riding motorcycles turned from dirt bikes to Harley’s.

Blane always stood up for anyone that was being bullied or picked on, which lead him to becoming a member of Dare Rising, a motivational gaming group.  There, he met a ton of friends and was able to use his passion in helping and encouraging people to be the best you can, and to never give up, and always find the best in yourself.  He was a dedicated individual and had an unbelievable desire to be the best he could be. He was admired by many.   Through Blane’s drive and love for life, he found a brotherhood that he was searching for, and they all quickly became family.

Blane had the biggest dimple, the best smile, and the most infectious laugh.  He was strong willed, and hard- headed, but he loved with his whole heart.  That was evident by the way he loved his family, his significant other, and his friends and brothers.

If all could see life the way Blane did, then we would all have less regrets and more memories.  He always said “I’m going to live life to the fullest”, and that’s just what he did.
