Obituary of Victor Lee Anderson
Victor "Lee" Anderson, age 73, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 16, 2021 at home, from complications of CIDP.
Lee was born February 19, 1948 in Maysville, Missouri, the son of Sam and Leta Anderson, both of whom preceded him in death. Lee graduated from Stewartsville, Missouri in 1966. He was a farmer and had a dairy farm there for several years, before health issues forced the sale of his beloved dairy. He then worked as parts manager for Massey Ferguson in Wathena, Kansas and at Nolker Chevrolet in Plattsburg, Missouri as parts manager. He married his high school sweetheart, Jeanie Hammon and they had two sons, Brian and Chris. He later met his soul mate, Jane Jesse and they were married August 28, 1987. He was the manager of Beltone Hearing Center in Mexico, Missouri for many years. He was known as the "ear man" around town with his fun loving, good natured, outgoing personality. His wife, Jane, soon joined him in the hearing industry and they moved to Jefferson City, Missouri, where they both worked for Beltone for 25 years. He thoroughly enjoyed his profession and looked forward to going to work every day to help the hearing impaired. They moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, where he enjoyed retirement (a forced, early retirement due to health issues), living the lake life, traveling and spending time with his fur babies, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jane (Fisher) Jesse Anderson; three sons, Brian Ellis Anderson of Camdenton, Missouri, Christopher Tyler Anderson of Raymore, Missouri, and Jeremy Lyle Jesse of Columbia, Missouri; three daughters-in-law, that he had special relationships with, Malina (Chris) Anderson, Heather (Jeremy) Jesse, and Jodi (Brian) Anderson; ten grandchildren; nephews and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne, that he had a very special bond with; and two sisters, Jean Flynn and Peggy Chaney.
Per Lee's wishes, there will be no memorial services, and he will be buried with Jane's ashes, along with the ashes of his three beloved doggies, Caseydog, Razberry and Sammie. A private family gathering will be held.
The family suggests memorial donations to The Humane Society, the GBS-CIDP Foundation, or to the charity of donor's choosing.
