Obituary of Carl Raymon Dailing
Major Retired Carl Raymon Dailing passed away at home on Friday, August 6, 2021.
Carl was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, July 23, 1951 to Mary (Brace) and Bobby John Dailing.
Carl served in the US Army for 20 years as an infantry soldier and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Commander (Bomb Squad). After his military service, he continued to serve as a civilian Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician. Carl did not know a stranger; he would strike up a conversation with everyone he met. Carl loved to play cards, hunt, and smoke cigars.
Carl is survived by his spouse of 41 years Michelle Dailing; brother Bobby and Linda Dailing; five sons Michael and Anna Dailing, Stephon and Monika Dailing, Ethan (Dailing) and Jordan Crandall, SP4 Bo and Ashley Dailing, Staff Sergeant Jake and Valerie Dailing; five grandchildren Stephonie, Sean, Cassandra, Shaylin, and Bentley; and one great grandchild.
No services will be held at this time.
