Obituary of Catherine A. Brannum

Catherine A. Brannum, age 50, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Catherine was born July 11, 1971, in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Lois Gaulden.

Catherine was united in marriage on August 6, 1988 to David Brannum, Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri. They shared 33 years together prior to her passing.

Catherine was devoted to God.  She was a family-oriented person and treasured her time spent with family and friends.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was also a remarkably loving and devoted grandmother.  Catherine enjoyed to cook and read.

Catherine is survived by her husband David Brannum of the home; her son David Alan Brannum, Jr. of Camdenton, Missouri; her granddaughter Lillie Simpson; her mother Lois Stivers of Eldon, Missouri; her brothers Nathan Mallory (Laura) of St. Louis, Missouri, Billy Mallory, Jr. of Eldon, Missouri, and Perry Crabtree (Donna) of Eldon, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

Catherine was preceded in death by her son Edward Brannum and sister-in-law Tammy Mallory.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Tree 197 Ministries in Camdenton, Missouri.

She will be interred at a later date with her son Edward Brannum.
