Obituary of Gregory Stephen Gilbert

Gregory Stephen Gilbert “Greg”, age 56, passed away at his home in Eldon, Missouri surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Greg was born March 30, 1965 in Joliet, Illinois to Richard Gilbert Jr. and Sandra Robinson.

Greg was a master carpenter by trade and took his craft to heart. He enjoyed cooking and made great crafted cheese cakes. He loved the outdoors, camping, floating, and telling jokes; although his passion was restoring Whitey, his 1967 Chevy truck. Greg will be greatly missed by all.

Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard Gilbert Sr. and Iris Gilbert, Bill and Janice Robinson, two uncles, and an aunt.

Greg is survived by his loving fiancé Jeanine Mclnter; his father Richard and Patty Gilbert; his mother Sandra Gilbert and Butch Brandt; his sisters Gina Madrigal and Rebecca Paputsa; his half-brother Tyler Gilbert. He was an uncle to SGT Brandon Gilbert and Jacob Paputsa and has numerous aunts and uncles.
