Meet the Staff at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home

                                                    Meet Tim & Joy Scott

Tim, a licensed funeral director & embalmer since 1980, has over 42 years of experience caring for families.  As owner & operator of Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes, his desire is to provide a place of trust and compassion to turn to during a most difficult time.

Tim and Joy have been married for 41 years, and have two daughters, Emily Viet (Dillon) and Courtney Thomas (Derek) and five grandchildren, Ainsley, Harper, Milla, Myles, and Nora. They love spending time with family and friends and walking on the beach. Tim has served with many organizations including Kiwanas, Rotary, Optimists, Camdenton Chamber of Commerce, Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Sharing and Caring Foundation, Camdenton Education Foundation, and others. Joy has served in recent years on the Camdenton Chamber of Commerce board and the Camdenton RIII Education Foundation board. She has also served as a volunteer with the Lamb House of Camdenton, Food Pantry, and assisted with a women's jail ministry for several years. Tim is a member of the Missouri Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Tim and Joy are members of First Baptist Church of Camdenton.



                                                    Meet Myron & Cindy Fesler

Myron & Cindy FeslerMyron and Cindy, both licensed funeral directors, began their careers with Ragan-Thieme Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri in 1985 and worked there for 7 years where Myron was manager of the funeral home. From there they moved to the Lebanon area and began working for Shadel's Colonial Chapel for several years before joining the staff of Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes in 2006. Myron is an ordained minister and is honored to assist families through difficult times.

Myron and Cindy have been married 49 years and have three children and ten grandchildren. They attend the Osage Beach Assembly of God Church where Myron teaches adult Sunday school class and Cindy helps in different areas of the church.



                                                          Meet Josh and Danielle Eidson

Josh and Danielle EidsonJosh Eidson, a licensed funeral director and embalmer, graduated from Lebanon High School in 2010. He continued his studies at College of the Ozarks, and after graduating worked for a large dairy farm in Greenville, Illinois. He returned to Lebanon and worked for Shadel's Colonial Chapel for the past 5 years. While there, he enrolled and graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. Josh joined the staff at Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes in March 2019.  Josh and Danielle met in West Plains, Missouri, Danielle's hometown. They began dating 2 years later and were married in May, 2018. Josh and Danielle welcomed a new baby girl on October 13, 2019 and a baby boy on June 15, 2021. Josh and Danielle love to spend time with family and friends and loving finding adventures together, whether that be hiking or traveling.

Meet Emily and Cody Mettler

Emily Mettler, who is currently studying at Des Moines Area Community College to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer, joined the staff at Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes in June 2022. Emily was born and raised in Lake Ozark, Missouri, and graduated from School of the Osage High School. Formerly, Emily worked as a pharmacy tech and also helped with her family's business, Infinity Float Spa.

Emily met Cody, a lieutenant for Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District, in 2017, and they were married in October 2020.  They have two beautiful baby boys together. Emily and Cody love being on the water, and often spend their free time out on the lake, boating, fishing, and creating memories with their family.                                        



                                                               Meet Jim & Deb Bertram

Jim & Deb BertramJim joined the staff of Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes in 2008.  He was formerly employed as an engineer for Caterpillar Inc. in Aurora, Illinois and retired in 2004 after 30 years of service. Faith then led Jim and his wife Deb to their 2nd career as the owner/operators of Majestic Oaks Campground in Eldon. When health issues led to their 2nd "retirement", Jim was asked to join the Hedges-Scott team.

Jim and Deb have one son, Jacob.   Music has always been a passion of Jim's, having sung in Barbershop Quartets for 22 years.  He now sings on the worship team at Osage Beach First Assembly of God.  He enjoys motorcycles, and is involved with Biker's for Christ Ministry.  Jim and Deb enjoy traveling vacations, visiting friends and family across the country, as well as an occasional cruise.

                                            Meet David  Cotten

David Cotten

David, a licensed funeral director, has been on staff with Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes for over 25 years.  David was first hired full time with Walter and Norma Hedges and was a familiar face at the Osage Beach location.   David "retired" a few years back, but continues to work part-time for the funeral home.  David is a member of Al Whitaker Post 6514- VFW,  and is a member of the Golden Oldies Band, a bluegrass band, where he sings, and plays guitar and bass.


                                                    Meet Jim & Ann Long

Jim & Ann Long

Jim, a licensed funeral director & embalmer, graduated from the Worsham Mortuary School, Chicago, Illinois in 1969. Upon his graduation he purchased Gilbert Funeral Home in Dixon, Missouri. He later purchased Moss Williams Funeral Homes in Crocker and Waynesville.  Jim and his wife Ann, also licensed, owned and operated the funeral homes together for 30 years and retired to Lake of the Ozarks in 1999, when they joined the staff of Hedges-Scott Funeral Homes. 

Jim and Ann have been married 52 years and have two daughters, Melissa Kline (Guy) of Osage Beach, Missouri and Stacy King (Jason) of Blaine, Minnesota and four grandchildren, Olivia and Ethan Kline, and Asher and Anson King.
