Obituary of Sherri Faith Jones

Sherri was born on February 1, 1957, to Dickey John Impson Jr. and Marilyn Loman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was severely injured in an automobile accident outside of Lake Ozark, Missouri on Saturday, March 29th 2008 and passed away later that evening at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. She lived in and around the Antlers Oklahoma area in her youth and graduated from Antlers High School in 1975. She began her career as a legal assistant in Oklahoma City�s leading law firms and ultimately worked in prestigious firms in Wichita Kansas and Washington DC. After moving to Missouri, she continued in the legal field with the Missouri Attorney General�s office and other firms. At the time of her death she was employed at Pohl & Pohl in Osage Beach, Missouri. On October 22nd, 1988, Sherri and Richard Lee Jones were united in marriage at Central Church of Christ in Moore, Oklahoma. Three children were welcomed into the Jones family; Keith Kristopher Impson, Kimberly Burnette Lewis, and Jacob Tyler Jones. Her strength will live on within her children. Sherri�s fun spirit lives on in the lives of her grandchildren, Logan and Isabella Impson who are the light of her life. She made many friends and was adored by her husband of 19 years and loved by all of Richard�s family. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. It was her wish to be buried with her beloved Aunt, Burnette Turner, who raised her, took care of her and loved her dearly. She had missed her with all of her heart and now is comforted to be back in her loving arms. Those who survive her include her husband, Richard Jones of Lake Ozark, her children, Keith Impson and Kimberly Lewis of Lawrence Kansas and Jacob Jones of Lake Ozark, her grandchildren Logan Impson and Isabella Impson of Lawrence Kansas, sisters Phyllis Aitson, and Wynona Impson and brother Sam Little of Oklahoma and her sister Pam Pasqual of Arizona. Her mother Marilyn Little, father Dickey John Impson Jr. and her older brother John Whitefox preceded her in death.
