Obituary of Dessie May Aufdembrink

Dessie May Aufdembrink, age 76, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Dessie was born July 19, 1931 in Clark, Missouri, a daughter to J.W. and Eva (Matthews) Mallory. On November 14, 1953, in Higginsville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Benjamin Ervin Aufdembrink who preceded her in death on September 26, 1992. Dessie graduated from High School in Renick, Missouri. She then graduated college in 1953 from the University of Missouri where she majored in home economics. Dessie had worked as an accounting clerk for Vernon Advertising in Newton, Iowa. Dessie is survived by four daughters; Deborah Laut and husband David of Farmington, Missouri, Dr. Linda Trotter and husband Albert of Jacksonville, Florida, Amy Verhoef and husband Jim of Osage Beach, Missouri and Tammy Sheehy and husband Tim of Princeton, Massachusettes, one son; Brent Aufdembrink and wife Windy of Plymouth, Minnesota, eleven grandchildren; Kyle Tabor and wife Kati, Kevin Tabor, Abigail Trotter, Eric, Ethan, Lauren and Rachel Aufdembrink and T.J.and Matthew Sheehy, one brother; W.Kenneth Mallory of Bowling Green, Missouri, one sister; Mildred Troyer of Centralia, Missouri along with many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Dessie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Benjamin and an infant son, Kevin.
