Obituary of Donald B. Johnson

Donald B. Johnson, age 75, fortified with the serenity of Holy Mother Church entered into the fullness of God�s love on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Beloved husband of Eileen Johnson, loving father of Don (Glenda) Dallas, TX, Roger, Clinton, MO, Steve (Janelle) Chesterfield, MO, and Brian, Plano, TX. Dear Grandfather to Alexandra, Reid, Ian and Kyle. Dear brother to Ken (Kathy), Columbus, NE. Donald was born in David City, Nebraska on February 7, 1933, to Eldon B. and Eleanor (Shonka) Johnson. Donald had a successful forty year career with JC Penney. He was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International and served the Catholic Church as one of the first lay ministers, lector, and served as a cantor for thirty two years. He also loved to sing in the church choir. His legacy is his family. He was an avid gardener; his love for his yard and flowers was surpassed only by his love for the game of golf, which led to his retirement on Seasons Ridge Golf Course at Lake of the Ozarks.
