Obituary of David Timothy Koenig

David Timothy Koenig, age 42, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born March 14, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. David was welcomed into the Koenig home on April 21, 1966, by his parents, Richard G. and Lora M. Koenig. Early in his career he became a cabinet installer and cabinet maker and took great pride in his work. He traveled to many areas in his work. For the past three years he made his home with his mother, Lora Koenig Montgomery in Camdenton. Surviving are his mother, Lora Montgomery of Camdenton, Missouri; one step-brother, John Montgomery of Grapevine, Texas; three step-nephews; one great step-nephew; six uncles; five aunts; and several cousins. David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Koenig and his step-father, Harry Montgomery; paternal grandparents Jerry and Laura Koenig; maternal grandparents Roland and Amelia Gooch and one uncle, Herman Gooch. Graveside Services and burial will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas.
