Obituary of Richard Charles Helton

Richard Charles Helton , age 68, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Harry S. Truman Veterans Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri. Richard was born July 26, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son to Charles and Vera (Kramer) Helton. He was united in marriage in 1966 to Shirley Jean Stephens who preceded him in death. Richard served his country proudly in both the Navy and the Marines. He was a member of the Samuel F. Gearhart Marine Corp League in Jefferson City, Missouri and the Osage Beach Assembly of God Church, Osage Beach, Missouri. Richard loved the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed watching their games. He is survived by his mother Vera of St. Charles, Missouri; four daughters, Tina Noennig of St. Charles, Missouri, Stephanie Helton of Tampa, Florida, Summer Helton and Stacie Helton, both of the home; one grandson, Ayden Helton, one sister, Joyce Montgomery and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and wife Shirley Jean.
