Obituary of Cora Nell Barnes

Cora Nell Barnes, 77, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach. She was born August 11, 1930, the daughter of William Henry and Cora Mae (Tate) Barnes of Batesville, Arkanasas. Cora worked in media sales and eventually became a partner in an advertising agency in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a staunch Hillary Clinton supporter and had hoped to be able to vote for the first woman president. During her final months while a resident of Ozark Retirement Center, she worked quietly but diligently on Senator Clinton�s behalf. She is survived by her sister, Frances Farris of Portageville, Missouri; and her brother, Jack Barnes of Austin, Texas. �Aunt Corn� will be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Hammer and Josephine Reyburn. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
