Obituary of Ethan Carnahan

Ethan Carnahan, age 86, of Macks Creek, Missouri passed away Monday June 23, 2008 at the Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born November 21 1921 in Troy, Kansas a son to Henry Nelson and Wilma Elitha (Eidson) Carnahan. Ethan was married on September 29, 1951 in Harrison, Arkansas to Irene Iris Fuller who preceded him in death on April 13, 2006 Ethan worked as a machinist Lab Supervisor for Vendo Company in Kansas City, Missouri for 27 years. He enjoyed being in the Ham Radio Club for 44 years and the Air Force Mars Club for 17 years. He worked for Labconco for two years and at Rival Manufactory for one year. In his spare time Ethan enjoyed working on gas engines, flying air planes, wood working and making quilts. He is survived by two sons; Gary L. Carnahan and wife Clydith, of Napoleon, Missouri, Larry W. Carnahan and wife Gina, of Oak Grove, Missouri, two daughters; Sandra Kincaid, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Kim Carnahan and Sandi Curtin, of Independence, Missouri. two brothers; Hank Carnahan and wife Audry, of Nixa, Missouri, James Dale Carnahan and wife Judy, of Osceola, Missouri and nine grandchildren. Ethan was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one daughter, Frances Neuman and one brother, Douglas Carnahan.
