Obituary of Ethel Fern Clemmons

Ethel Fern Moulder Clemmons was born at Old Linn Creek, Missouri on July 20, 1919, the eighth of eleven children born to Lonnie and Myrtle Gerhardt Moulder. She passed away at Windsor Estates, Camdenton, Missouri on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the age of 88. She had shared over 50 years of marriage with her husband Eldon prior to his passing. She was a faithful member of many organizations including First Baptist Church of Macks Creek where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 20 of Macks Creek, the Macks Creek PTA, the Lions Club and the Branch Homemakers Club. She worked for many years making cedar products at Ohler�s Novelty Company. After the death of her husband Eldon, she became the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Macks Creek. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. Fern is survived by a son, Billy Clemmons and his wife Sarah of Topeka, Kansas; a daughter, Peggy Cooper of Springfield, Missouri; a son Carl Clemmons and his wife Beverly of Marshall, Missouri; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Morgan of Camdenton, Missouri and Mayme Woodall of Macks Creek, Missouri; one brother-in-law Max Slusser of Cheney, Kansas along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, five sisters and a son-in-law, Bobby Cooper.
