Obituary of Velva D. North

Velva D. North, age 95 of Camdenton, Missouri , passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton. She was born April 23, 1913 in Macks Creek, Missouri, a daughter to Gentry and Dona (Kerr) Parrack. On April 23, 1931 in Macks Creek, she was united in marriage to Leonard North who preceded her in death on August 4, 2000. Velva was a charter member of Lake Valley Country Club of Camdenton. She was also a member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton and the Order of the Eastern Star of Camdenton. Velva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by one son; Dennis North and wife Nancy of Camdenton, Missouri, one daughter; Patricia Morgan and husband Carl of Camdenton, Missouri, one daughter-in-law; Barbara North, one brother; G.D. Parrack and wife Betty of Springfield, Missouri, one sister; Geraldine Asher of Camdenton, Missouri, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Beside her husband Leonard, Velva was preceded in death by one son; Leonard Denzil North, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
