Obituary of Dale Morgan

Forrest Dale Morgan, age 74, of Fair Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Strafford Care Center, Strafford, Missouri. He was born May 25, 1934 in Camden County, a son to James Arley and Lillie Dale (Vance) Morgan. Dale was united in marriage on September 6, 1953 in Camdenton, Missouri to Virginia White. Dale graduated from Camdenton High School in 1952 and later served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a beef cattle farmer and a builder, having built numerous homes in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Dale enjoyed fishing and RVing in his spare time. He had professed his faith in Christ and was baptized in 1960. Dale had been a life-long resident of Camden County until he moved to Fair Grove, Missouri in 2003 in order to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Virginia of the home; three daughters, Susan Crum and husband Charles of Fair Grove, Missouri, D�Ann Kohls and husband Jeffrey of Springfield, Missouri and Marla Franklin and husband Patrick of Lee�s Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren, Megan Crum, Morgan Kohls, Jenna Kohls, Connor Franklin and Harrison Franklin along with many other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Fern Morgan and one brother Eldon Vaughn Morgan.
