Obituary of Irene H. Cunningham

Irene H. Cunningham, age 89 of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Windsor Estates in Camdenton. She was born January 12, 1919 in Greenfield, Illinois, a daughter to David P. and Elizabeth Baumgartner. Irene was united in marriage on June 7, 1941 in Carrollton, Illinois to A. Harold Cunningham who preceded her in death on July 28, 2000. Irene was a warm hearted, very caring person who was loved by all who met her. Her kind and gentle spirit touched many lives while she was a resident at Windsor Estates, including family members of other residents there when they came to visit. She was an extremely talented and creative person and was known to be a good dancer. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly by all. She is survived by daughters, Carol DeGeal and husband George of Camdenton, Missouri and Connie Boykin of Evergreen, Colorado; a son, Roger Cunningham of Denver, Colorado; ; one grandson, two great-grandsons along with several other relatives and many friends. Aside from her husband, Irene was preceded in death by one son, Christopher J. Cunningham; one daughter, Phyllis Cunningham; two brothers and three sisters.
