Obituary of Annetta Jeanne Hargrave

Annetta Jeanne Hargrave, age 87, of Osage Beach, Missouri, went to be with Jesus on October 1, 2008. She was born on the family farm in Hamilton, Missouri on June 30, 1921, a daughter to Oscar and Kittie (Sparks) Axon. Jeanne was united in holy matrimony on February 7, 1943 to Joseph R. Hargrave and together they raised three children; Barbara Jo, Joseph Jr., and Kittie Valarie. Jeanne was raised with solid Christian values and a strong work ethic. She attended college on a piano scholarship at Bake University in Ballwin, Kansas. She had professed Jesus as her Savior and lived strong in her faith, acknowledging the Lord God�s perfect plan for her life. A school music teacher, she worked tirelessly to help provide and care for her family. She is preceded in death by her dear husband Joe Hargrave, daughter Barbara Jo, parents Oscar and Kittie Axon, and older brother William Vernon Axon. Jeanne is survived by her son Joseph, of the home, and his fiance� Diona Dungan; daughter Kittie and husband Terry Dabney, all of Osage Beach, Missouri; younger brother Larry Lynn Axon and wife Elizabeth of Springfield, Missouri and daughter-in-law Ella Mae Axon of Phoenix, Arizona.
