Lanny Ross Newton passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Marshall, Missouri at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 15 days. He was born May 10, 1940 in Macks Creek, Missouri, a son to Ross McConnell and Nella Fay (Meads) Newton. Survivors include his mother Nella Fay Newton of Macks Creek, Missouri; one sister, Helen May Peavey and husband Walter of Macks Creek, Missouri; two nieces, Stephanie Ann Hurt and husband Jacob of Springfield, Missouri and Tiffany Anne Willis and husband Joe of Macks Creek, Missouri along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ross McConnell Newton.
