Obituary of Zulma Runyon Forbis

Zulma Runyon Forbis, age 95, of Wheeling, Illinois, went to be with Jesus on October 31, 2008 at Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born in Stanberry, Missouri on November 4, 1912, a daughter to Faye Runyon and Grace (Plymale) Runyon. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 13. Attended and graduated from Westport High School Zulma was united in holy matrimony on July 16, 1933 to Wallace Raymond Forbis and together they raised two children Joyce and Judith Ann. She was a reporter for Midwest Contractor, later a secretary for Federal Aviation Adm, retiring in 1978. In 1992 she moved to Wheeling, Illinois to be near her daughters. She was a member of Independence Blvd Christian Church in Kansas City. She is preceded in death by her dear husband, daughter Judith Ann Closset and one brother. Zulma is survived by her daughter Joyce Butero, two grandson�s William Closset and his wife Yvette and Bryan Closset and his wife Pamela; five great grandchildren.
