Obituary of Henry Roy Bohning
Henry (Hank) Roy Bohning, age 76, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at his residence.
He was born April 29, 1932, to Henry A. and Hazel V. (Hewitt) Bohning in St. Louis, Missouri.
Hank was a Sargeant in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for Union Electric Company as a lineman/troubleman for more than 32 years. He was a member of the American Legion for 56 years, the Elks, and the Knights of Columbus (Council 9273).
Hank was a man of many friends, always willing to help. He gave his all to everything he did, and loved the Lake of the Ozarks area and its many activities. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; three sons, Henry Roy Bohning, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Larry Thomas Bohning and wife Kelly of Bloomington, Illinois and Kenneth Scott Bohning of St. Louis, Missouri and one sister, June Mueller of Florrissant, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Shirley (Gill) Bohning; two brothers, James and Robert and one sister, Grace Bohning.
