Obituary of Frances Thibodeau

Frances Ruth Miller Thibodeau, age 94 of Camdenton, Missouri, formerly of Albany, New York and Beaumont, California, passed away August 29, 2008 at the Osage Beach Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born November 26, 1913 in Albany, New York, a daughter to John Michael and Frances M. (Gruber) Miller. She graduated in 1931 from the Academy of the Holy Names in Albany, New York. She was married to Leo John Thibodeau on October 6, 1937, and to this union were born five children, all surviving. They raised their family in Albany, New York and moved to California in 1972 and settled in Cherry Valley. Fran was a loving wife and also was a volunteer for San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in California, receiving an award for 10,000 hours of service. She was past Captain of Highland Springs Village Gal�s Golf Club, and a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center of Beaumont. She was also involved in book clubs, card groups and she enjoyed her family. Frances was an active member of San Gorgonio Catholic Church and the altar society. Surviving are her children; Michael Thibodeau of Los Angeles, California, Emery Thibodeau and wife Anne of Kenai, Alaska, Pam Geiselmann and husband Joe of Camdenton, Missouri, Tom Thibodeau and wife Nancy of Kenai, Alaska and Patricia Parsons and husband Randall of East Hampton, New York. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren along with several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers.
