Obituary of Larry T. Doty

Larry T. Doty, age 80, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Eldon Nursing and Rehab Center, Eldon, Missouri. He was born May 23, 1929 in Lake City, Arkansas, a son to Larry, Sr. and Evylyn (Britt) Doty. On May 16, 1965, he was united in marriage to Gail Favier who survives. Larry had been a truck driver most of his life. He had served our country proudly in United States Navy. In his spare time he loved fishing and building things. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach. Larry is survived by his wife Gail of the home; three sons, Gary Doty of Madison, Alabama, Terry Doty of Cocoa, Florida and Darren Doty and wife Shaun of Pocahontas, Illinois; one daughter, Terri Lynn Weber and husband Matt of Round Lake, Illinois; three sisters; Berniece Bruner and husband L.V. of Casa Grande, Arizona, Bettye Corbin and husband Randy of Freeport, Illinois and Patsy Baker of Springfield, Illinois; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren as well as several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Doty.
