Obituary of Marilyn P. Diehl

Marilyn P. Diehl, age 78, of Climax Springs, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born September 25, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter to Ira and Dorothy (Talbot) Elliott. She was united in marriage on January 21, 1953 to George (Lefty) Diehl. Pat was a resident of Climax Springs for over twenty years. She knew no strangers, as she was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge with her friends, and was a true animal lover. She was also a long time active member of the Coffman Bend Fire Department. She was an outstanding and faithful caregiver to first her mother and then to her husband Lefty even while she was battling a courageous fight against cancer. Pat was a loving wife, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her many accomplishments and will cherish the memories she created for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband George (Lefty) of the home; Bootsie her loving cat and other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Edward Elliott.
