Obituary of Anna L. McDonald

Anna L. McDonald, age 79, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at her residence. She was born October 22, 1929 in Omaha, Nebraska, a daughter to Walter and Anna (Mangan) Greene. She was united in marriage on May 14, 1948 to Henry McDonald who preceded her in death in 1985. Anna was a member of the Garden Club of Eldon. She was known to read at least two newspapers a day and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. More than anything though, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her accomplishments and will cherish the memories she created for her family and friends. She is survived by two sons, David McDonald and wife Shannon of Eldon, Missouri and James McDonald and wife Marisa of Butler, Missouri and three grandchildren, David, Jillian and Ryan. Besides her husband Henry, Anna was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jim, Walter and Robert and one sister, Elida.
