Obituary of Frederick L. Childers

Frederick L. Childers, age 61, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born July 28, 1947 in Parsons, Kansas, a son to Orvan and Margaret (Clappsadole) Childers. Fred was united in marriage to Judy McCrary on August 25, 1967, and together they shared the last 41 years until the time of his passing. Fred had worked for the Government in the E.P.A. Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories he created for a lifetime. He is survived by his wife Judy of the home; his son, Scott Childers of Camdenton, Missouri; his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Craig Betcher of Camdenton, Missouri; two brothers, Bud Childers and wife Pam of Chatta, Tennessee and Bob Childers and wife Suzi of Anacortes, Washington; two sisters, Teresa Lovette and husband Mike of Casa Grande, Arizona and Eva Pannier and husband Howard of Marrisa, Illinois; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Brynn along with several other relatives and friends.
