Obituary of Hubert Dale Griffin

Hubert Dale Griffin, age 93, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center, Tuscumbia, Missouri. He was born on December 8, 1915 in Hawkeye, Missouri, a son to William and Mary Emma (Gibson) Griffin. Hubert was united in marriage on January 14, 1939 to Loeta (Dake), who preceded him in death on February 27, 2002. Hubert had spent most of his years doing work as a mechanic in the Iberia and Fort Leonard Wood areas. He is survived by one son, Ronnie D. Griffin and wife Terry of Osage Beach, Missouri; two daughters, Charlotte Plemmons and husband Bob of Kansas City, Missouri and Alice Campbell also of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild along with several other relatives and friends. Besides his wife Loeta, Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and sister�s in law; Arthur and wife Anna, Wesley and wife Arlene, Stanley and wife Florence, Clovis and wife Hazel, Lonnie and wife Ruby, Perlie and wife Ann and Orville and wife Mary; two sisters, Dosha and her husband Earnest Mackey and Sylvia and her husband Clark Pemberton.
