Obituary of Dale Norris

Dale F. Norris, age 92, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Osage Beach Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born on January 17, 1917 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, a son to Ada Failer. On June 5, 1965 he was united in marriage to Ruby H. Hester who preceded him in death in 1993. Dale served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. He had enjoyed a career as a technical illustrator for various aircraft companies throughout his lifetime. Dale loved hunting and was an avid gun collector. He enjoyed wood working and drawing in his spare time and because church was such an important aspect of his life, he spent many hours reading his Bible. Dale is survived by his very special friends Bob and Betty Chandler and their children, Robert, Jr. and wife Terry of Eldridge, Missouri and Mike and wife Misti of Kaiser, Missouri; their grandchildren, Clayton and Dustin as well as many other friends in the community.
