Obituary of Arthur F. Reckert

Arthur Fredrick Reckert Jr., 77, of Osage Beach, Mo., passed away Friday, March 13, 2009, at his residence. He was born June 27, 1931, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Arthur F. Reckert Sr. and Lillian (Austin) Reckert. Arthur was united in marriage to Margaret Marie Jenne in St. Louis on March 15, 1952. He worked as a pipefitter for Local Union 562 St Louis until 1996, when he moved to Osage Beach. Arthur served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from May 20, 1952 to April 20, 1954. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Marie Reckert; three sons, Michael Lee and his wife Kathy of Ballwin, Mo., Matthew Arthur and his wife Bernadette of O�Fallon, Mo., and Mark Charles and his wife Maggie of Kirkwood, Mo.; a daughter, Susan Barbara Teems and her husband Scott of St. Charles; 10 grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, Kameron, Katelyn, Mark Jr., Angelina, Bridget and Patrick Reckert, Michael and Megan O�Connor, along with several other relatives and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harry Reckert, one sister and one grandson Brendan Reckert. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was always on hand to help others.
