Obituary of Chester Floy Green

Chester Floy Green, age, 89 of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born October 20, 1919 in Macks Creek, Missouri, a son to Bill and Nellie Frances (Osborn) Green. He married Lois Edwards on August 13, 1940 who preceded him in death on June 18, 1994. Chester served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. He had worked his entire life as a Farmer and had been a member of Parrack Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Macks Creek since the age of ten. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Spence her husband Hugh of Macks Creek, Missouri; one son, Dan Green his wife Kathi of Roach, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Dan Spence of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David Spence and wife Karen of St. Louis, Missouri, Kevin Spence and Kate of Portland, Oregon, Emily Riley and husband Mark of El Paso, Texas, Josh Green and wife April of Macks Creek, Missouri, Stacey Leach and husband Roy of Roach, Missouri, Troy Green and wife Goldie of Camdenton, Missouri, Dana Green and Chance of Warrensburg, Missouri, Kristin Green of Roach, Missouri, Colten Green and Biz of Columbia, Missouri and Rose Green of Arlington, Texas; great-grandchildren; Sean, Callasandra, Savannah, Chloe, Molly and Michael; one brother Billy Green of Raytown, Missouri along with several other relatives and friends. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edith Reich and Ethyel Green and one brother, Roy Green.
