Obituary of Ilona Lynn Furbee

Ilona Lynn Furbee, age 50, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at her residence in Eldon. She was born July 11, 1958 in Waukegan, Illinois, a daughter to Ingolf and Ilse (Noll) Peterson. Ilona had worked for Fasco in Eldon. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts. She loved animals and was a kind and caring person who loved everyone and was always willing to help family and friends. She had helped with Relay for Life and other fund raisers for cancer research programs. Ilona was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories she created for her family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Johnson and her husband Anthony of Columbia, Missouri;her mother, Ilse Peterson of Osage Beach, Missouri; one sister, Ingrid Wickam and husband Sherel of Eldon, Missouri; two grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
