Obituary of Loretta M. Yates

Loretta M. Yates, age 89, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Loretta was born on May 17, 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter to Edward and Marie (Snoddy) Conroy. She was united in marriage to Arthur Yates, Jr. on November 4, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri. Loretta grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Northeast High School, She and her husband Art lived in Independence, Missouri. They moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1979 to enjoy retirement. She and Art would travel to South Padre Island in the winter time. Loretta enjoyed her time being a homemaker, but more than anything she loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of sixty nine years Arthur Yates; two children, Marcia Haralson and husband William of Alto, New Mexico and Mark Yates and wife Sally of Osage Beach, Missouri; two grandchildren, Ryan Haralson of Dallas, Texas and Lindsey Dragon of Lee�s Summit, Missouri.
