Obituary of Margaret M. Armstrong

Margaret M. Armstrong, age 89, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born July 2, 1919 in Wauchula, Florida, the youngest of four children to Margaret graduated from Wauchula High School and then attended business college for two years. She met Robert F. Rich at a USO Dance in Tampa, Florida, and soon married in 1941. Robert was killed during World War II in a plane crash in December 1944. Their daughter, Bobbie Roggero was born four months after his death. The first time Margaret met the Rich family was when she took his body to California. Margaret lived most of her life in California. She married a wonderful man by the name of John Klemm in 1950. He was a wonderful husband and step-father. He passed away in December, 1976 during open heart surgery. Seven years later she met Jack Armstrong and they had a wonderful life together. He passed away in the late 1980�s. Dan Spencer was another wonderful person in her life. Margaret moved to Camdenton, Missouri in 1995, to be closer to her daughter. It was a wonderful move for the whole family! She quickly became a part of bridge groups in the area and loved it! Her motto in life was �Live, Laugh, Love and Learn!� She had a lot of hard times in her life, but she always bounced back. She always had a smile on her face and a wonderful sense of humor which she kept until the day she died. Margaret was like an Angel on Earth! Everyone who knew her loved her, and she would go out of her way to help people. She did a lot of volunteer work for the Veterans� Administration through the American Legion Auxiliary. She was the best mom, grandma, and great-grandma that anyone could ever ask for! Her great-grandchildren will always remember her as �Gigi!� She is survived by her only daughter Bobbie Roggero; son-in-law Jim Roggero; two grandchildren, Megan Roggero of Overland Park, Kansas and Mike Roggero and his wife Meg of Lawrence, Kansas and two beautiful great-grandchildren Marissa and Miles of Lawrence, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands and siblings Julian McDugald, Jim McDugald and Myrtle McDugald Henry.
