Obituary of Annabel H. Mudd
Annabel H. Mudd, daughter of Harry E. and Anna K. (Stis) Creely, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 22, 1912. She departed this life on Friday, May 8, 2009, at the Lake Ozark Retirement Center in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of 96 years.
Annabel was married on November 28, 1936 to Philip S. Mudd in St. Louis, Missouri, and from this union a daughter and a son were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister and her two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce a Wilkins and her husband Palmer of Novato, California; her son Donald P. Mudd and his wife Catherine of Camdenton, Missouri; a grandson, Philip Donald Mudd and his wife Andrea of Flower Mound, Texas; a granddaughter Cathleen Ann Hutcheson and her husband Brant of Fulton, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Ryan, and Christopher Mudd, Logan and Emily Hutcheson, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised and lived in the St. Louis, Missouri area most of her life. Throughout her life she was a devoted homemaker to her family. During the 1960�s/1970�s she was employed by Monsanto Chemical Company in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She lived in Webster Groves, Missouri for over 40 years. In 1996 she moved to Scottish Rite Park in Des Moines, Iowa and in 2006 she moved to Lake Ozark Retirement Center in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Annabel was a long time member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Shrewsbury, Missouri, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Des Moines, Iowa, and Our Lady Of The Lake Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her husband of 50 years at the Mudd family farm near Wellsville, Missouri.
