Obituary of Mary Patricia Laughlin

Mary Patricia Laughlin, age 78, of Kaiser, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born November 16, 1930 near New Virginia, Iowa, the oldest child to James Ralph and Pauline Elizabeth (Ransom) Laughlin. Pat, as she was known, came to Camdenton when her parents returned to the lake area in 1937. She lived most of the remainder of her life in Camden County. She was a graduate of Camdenton High School class of 1948. Pat and her husband, Drew Anderson, were partners with her father in the Laughlin Motor Company and became sole proprietors in 1959. She spent many of her later years caring for others, be it children or adults. Pat is survived by her daughter, Cindy Mae Dulle of Camdenton, Missouri and her son, Robert Roe Anderson of Licking, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Lolita Anderson of Benton, Illinois; her grandchildren, Sabrina Mae Decker and husband Chris of Nebraska, Christina Mae Anderson of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and three great-grandchildren, Hudson Decker and Christopher and Catrina Anderson; her sister Carol Bea Dye of Dixon, Missouri; her brothers, Ralph Dale Laughlin and wife Barbara of Waynesville, Missouri and Jerol Lee Laughlin and wife Sandra of Camdenton, Missouri and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Drew, and her older son Dennis Drew Anderson, who suffered a heart attack and passed away a few hours earlier on the same day.
