Obituary of Louisa F Bobo

Louisa (Franky) Bobo, age 81, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach. She was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on July 14, 1927, a daughter to Fred and Lena (Pagel) Schroeder. On June 7, 1946 she was married to Nelbert (Nebbs) Bobo and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together. They retired out of Milwaukee in 1981 and moved to Osage Beach, Missouri. She had worked as an Executive Secretary in Milwaukee. Franky was a member of the Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary for many years and a member of the Newcomers Longtimers Club. She had been a member of the Hope Lutheran Chapel since they moved to Osage Beach. Franky enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles and fishing and she also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Franky was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories she created for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Nebbs of the home; two grandsons, Jeremy and Christopher Bobo, both of Minnesota and a great-grandson Kai Bobo; three sisters, Dorothy Volberding of Rochester, Minnesota, Gertrude Weish of Chatfield, Minnesota and Betty (Leigh) Quish of Aurora, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Gladys Schroeder of Eau Claire, Wisconsin along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Bobo in 1989, her parents, and a brother, Gerhard Schroeder.
