Obituary of Robert Lewis DaMitz

Robert Lewis DaMitz, age 75, of Macks Creek, Missouri went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Windsor Estate Care Center in Camdenton, Missouri. He was born on March 9, 1934 in Hickory County, Missouri, a son of Thomas F. and Ellen E. (Robinet) DaMitz. Robert was married on June 11, 1982 to Sandra Miller. Robert worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for 39 years with TWA. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. Robert had a passion for cars and was the president of the Road Phantom's. His priority was loving and serving the Lord. It was his desire that all his family would know the Lord. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Robert is survived by his wife Sandra, of the home, five sons; Rick DaMitz and wife Brenda, of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeff White, of Macks Creek, Missouri, Kevin DaMitz and wife Melanie, of Nixa, Missouri, Derek DaMitz and wife Debbie, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Joe Crider and wife Karena, of Tunas, Missouri, four daughters; Debbie McDaniel, of Osceola, Missouri, Rhonda Morris and husband Roger, of LuVerne, Minnesota, Joy Morris and husband David, of Buffalo, Missouri, Peggy Garren, of Louisburg, Missouri, four brothers; Tom DaMitz and wife Margie, of Johnson City, Tennessee, Jack DaMitz and wife Dorothy, of Macks Creek, Missouri, Bud DaMitz and wife Lena, of Lee�s Summit, Missouri, Ernie, DaMitz and wife Charlotte, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, one sister; Wanda Allen and husband Terry, of Lee�s Summit, Missouri, twenty two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dale DaMitz.
