Obituary of Lorene Flossie Sousley
Lorene Flossie Sousley, age 93, of Camdenton, Missouri went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 18, 2009 at Osage Beach Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was strong in her fight to live and gracious in letting go to be with our Lord.
Flossie was born June 18, 1916 in Bennett Springs, Missouri, a daughter to James and Myrtle (Rowden) Bennett, who both preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Hobert Adams on July 6, 1938, who preceded her in death; later marrying Allan Sousley, who also preceded her in death.
Flossie was a member of Community Christian Church of Camdenton. She had been both owner and operator of Adams Caf� in Camdenton for many years. Flossie loved to hunt and fish and was known to be at Bennett Springs on March 1st opening day of trout fishing, where she enjoyed catching her limit.
Survivors include her daughters Joyce Dougan of the home, and Thelma West of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, two daughters Verba and Maxine, and three brothers Jude, Junior and Donnie.
