Obituary of Dennis Ray Blair

Dennis Ray Blair, age 54, of Roach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2009 at his home. He was born on September 12, 1954 in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son to Thurl and Audrey (Osborn)Blair. When his father retired from his concrete business, Dennis and his brother David took it over. Later, he went on to start his own business in construction. Dennis loved reading books. He enjoyed taking long nature walks and spending time in the woods. He also spent many hours riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. But most of all, Dennis loved spending time with his family. Dennis loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was never shy to voice his faith with others. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Frances Blair; his brother David Wesley Blair, and one infant son, Aaron Michael Blair. He is survived by four daughters, Elishia Perez, Amy Hufferd and husband Michael, Jessica Blair and Amber Blair; one son Nathan Blair; one grandson Alexander Wesley, and one grandson, Michael Wayne Warren on the way; his father Thurl Blair; three sisters, Linda Honeyfield and husband Russell of Collins, Missouri,Wanda Jones and husband Robert of Roach, Missouri and Kathryn Slavens and husband David of Roach, Missouri, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dennis will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
