Obituary of Ollie Mae Keith
Ollie Mae Yeager Keith (Nana), a long time resident of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of 88 years old.
She was born May 1, 1921 in Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter to John and Mary Goodwin Yeager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Hillery Burns (HB) Keith; her sisters Dorothy Ramsey, Helen Patten, and Mary Veyel; her brother Robert Yeager; her son Robert Earl Keith; her grandson Michael James Wiese; and her granddaughters Gloria Mae Wright and Dawn Louise Duell.
She is survived by three daughters and a son, Sonja Turk of Osage Beach, Missouri, FeeDee Crabtree and husband Britt of Gardnerville, Nevada, Denise Drury and husband Mike of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Daniel Keith and wife Lori of Lake Ozark, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren, Hillery Bell and wife Andrea of Casa Robels, California, Kim Pcal and husband Jeff of Oxnard, California, Kellie Bell of Carson City, Nevada; David Keith of Friday Harbor, Washington; Debbie Keith of Friday Harbor, Washington, Cathy Keith of Friday Harbor, Washington, Tim Keith and wife Amanda of Gardnerville, Nevada; Kurt Turner and wife Kim of Cucamonga, California; Mariah Cruz of Sonoma, California, Dillion Leknes and wife Cassandra of Fort Irwin, California, Carol Cambell Smith and husband Steve of Rolla, Missouri, FeeDee Keith Langrehr and husband Paul of Yokosuka, Japan, Jason Robinson and wife Kiandra of Olathe, Kansas, Danielle Keith of Manchester, New Hampshire, Jennifer Robinson of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Jonathan (JJ) Robinson of Lincoln, Nebraska, Daniel (DJ) Keith of Lake Ozark, Missouri; twenty-six Great Grandchildren; five Great-Great Grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ollie and her husband moved their family from the Louisville, Kentucky area to the Los Angeles, California area around 1956 where they raised their children. While living in the Los Angeles area, she was active with the Moose Lodge, enjoyed flying and camping as well as various other activities with her family and friends. In 1979 after retiring, they moved to Lake Ozark, Missouri and were eventually followed by some of their children. While living in the lake area, Nana enjoyed activities on the lake such as boating and fishing, was active for several years with the Senior Center and loved playing with her grandchildren.
