Obituary of Tara Garrison

Tara Garrison, 54, loving, caring, loved life to the fullest; passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Charleston, S.C. She was born Dec. 23, 1954 in Buffalo, N.Y. Following graduation from Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Ill., she attended Southern Illinois University as an art major. She was a long-time resident of the lake area, where she worked as a travel consultant for 25 years. Tara was married on Dec. 14, 2001, to Keith Jones, who survives of the home. She was preceded in death by her mother Sheila Walsh in 1983. Surviors include her loving daughter, Conner Garrison Barraco and husband Joe of Kansas City, Mo., two step-daughters, Nicola Daley and Casey Jones of Charleston, S.C., three sisiters, Darcy Borders and her daughter Kalie of Brumley, Mo., Kirsten Kunkel, her husband and three boys of Dallas, Texas, Alison Huber, her husband Jim and daughter Olivia of Oregon, her father Pierce and stepmother Lynn Walsh of Chicago, Ill. Tara is also survived by many other friends and relatives who will miss her greatly. Tara loved everyone and everything she came into contact with. She is with the angels now. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 at Hedges Funeral Home on Route 42 in Kaiser, Mo. Her family would like her friends to join them after the service at a special remembrance of Tara�s life at Vista Grande Restaurant in Osage Beach.
