Obituary of Paul J. Martin
Paul J. Martin, age 25, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, has fallen asleep in Christ on July 24 2009 at Cross Creek Campground in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
He was born December 12, 1983 in Dallas, Texas, the fifth child of six born to Virginia and Howard Martin, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlotte, and grandfathers, Jesse and Ivy. Surviving are his mother and father of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Howard Martin of Texas, Joshua Martin of Colorado and Luke Martin of Lake Ozark; two sisters, Heather Robinson of Lake Ozark and Charity Cunningham and husband Chris of Lake Ozark; nineteen nieces and nephews; grandmother, Estelle, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Paul moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2007 shortly after a majority of his family had moved there. Paul felt most at home when he was near his family. He enjoyed wildlife and nature, and to capture on film and video, the beauty of God's creation. Paul was very tender hearted towards his family and friends, and would do anything for those he loved. He turned from a life of sin to redemption in God, making Jesus Lord, proving this by being baptized in Loveland, Colorado on June 10, 2009. He lived in faithfulness to God, through Jesus, not wanting to do anything that would hurt God's heart or disgrace the name of Jesus to which he is called a Christian.
