Obituary of Ralph F. Laubersheimer

Ralph F. Laubersheimer, age 69, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Ralph was born December 1, 1939 in Keokuk, Iowa, a son to C. Max and Louise (Fiedler) Laubersheimer. Ralph was united in marriage on August 22, 1962 to Casandra (Cassie) Shively and together they had shared the past 47 years until his passing. Ralph had served his country proudly in the United States Army. As a career, he had worked for many years as both Owner and Operator of a vacation resort in Colorado. Ralph had always enjoyed being involved with and active in his family�s lives, having coached his daughters� and granddaughter�s basketball teams and being involved with youth ministries through the years. Ralph loved his family dearly and looked forward to time spent with them either at home or on beloved family vacations. In recent years, Ralph enjoyed having his grandchildren close and following their many activities. Ralph was an active member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton where he served faithfully as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Awana Listener and Usher. Ralph was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Ralph is survived by his wife Cassie of the home; two daughters, Angela Paul and husband Stephen of Camdenton, Missouri and Michelle Jackson and husband Phil of Camdenton, Missouri; one brother, Charles Laubersheimer and wife Pat of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and two grandchildren, Eli Schmidt and Jessi Schmidt of Camdenton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carla and John Dunlap of Keokuk, Iowa along with several other relatives and many friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
