Obituary of Sandra Joan DaMitz

Sandra Joan DaMitz, age 63, of Macks Creek, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, August 28, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Sandra was born December 28, 1945 in Sullivan, Missouri, a daughter to Raymond and Edna (Record) Miller. She had six brothers and two sisters. Sandra was united in marriage on June 11, 1982 to Robert DaMitz. God and family were her focus in life; and her dogs!! She enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, reading, puzzles, games, cooking, game shows, traveling and garage sales. Sandra loved holidays when her whole family could be together, and Christmas was her favorite. No matter what she did or the circumstances she was in, she was always cheerful and was an inspiration to her family and friends. Sandra is survived by sons; Rick DaMitz and wife Brenda, of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeff White of Macks Creek, Missouri, Kevin DaMitz and wife Melanie, of Nixa, Missouri, Derek DaMitz and wife Debbie, of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Joe Crider of Tunas, Missouri; daughters, Rhonda Morris and husband Roger, of LuVerne, Minnesota, Joy Morris and husband David, of Buffalo, Missouri and Peggy Garren of Louisburg, Missouri; twenty two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her parents; three brothers, Bobby, Bud and John; and one sister, Beth Gullet.
