Obituary of Edward Anderson

Edward Anderson, age 67, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009 at his residence in Lake Ozark. Edward was born July 18, 1942 in Saint Louis, Missouri, a son to Fred and Frances Baker Anderson. Edward served his country proudly in the United States Air Force following high school. He retired from the Saint Louis Post Dispatch, after having been employed there for 35 years. Edward enjoyed swimming, sports of all kinds, especially baseball, bowling and boxing, which he participated in while in the Air Force. Edward is survived by his wife Rita (Winfrey) of the home; one son, Jimmy Anderson of South Carolina; one daughter, Cathy Meachum and her husband Eugene of Saint Louis, Missouri; one brother, Tom and his wife Pat of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his mother, Frances Anderson of Saint Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his father.
