Obituary of Robin Wayne Smith

Robin Wayne Smith, age 26, of Camdenton, Missouri, was called to Heaven on Sunday, September 27, 2009 as the result of a traffic accident in Beckham County, Oklahoma. Robin was born on June 16, 1983 in Hinsdale, Illinois, a son to Wayne and Kathy Smith who now reside in Camdenton. He shared his life with Schasse Smith. They were married on December 10, 2008. He has two step-children of the home, Isabelle and Anthony, whom he loved very much. Robin has one brother, Raven Smith and his fianc� Leeann Long of Camdenton, and one niece, Kaibree Lynn Smith. His mother-in-law, Wendy Livingood and his two brothers-in-law, Will and Duane Purcell. He also shared his life with many friends. He never met anyone he didn�t talk to. He had lived in Chicago, Bloomington and Normal, Illinois, and had a brief stay in Kentucky. In 1999 he moved to and settled in Camdenton, Missouri. Robin graduated from Camdenton High School in 2002. He played football for the Camdenton Lakers when they won the state championship in 2000. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 2003. He had obtained two automotive degrees. Robin played hockey with his brother and dad, and were champs of the Springfield Adult Hockey League in 2004. He loved the water and loved to go boating and water skiing. He also enjoyed snow skiing. Robin was a dedicated Chicago sports fan, and among his many other interests, he loved to travel, loved movies, collected Star Wars and Lord of the Rings action figures and swords and knives. He also had an artistic ability like no other. Robin was a dedicated family man. When he walked into a room he could light it up with his smile, and he had a wonderful sense of humor and a wonderful hearty laugh to compliment it. He was a wonderful man-- just a big teddy bear with a heart of gold. Robin had worked for many places in the lake area; some of which include, Movie Gallery, Osage Theater, Wards Auction, Half Sauced Barbeque, Captain�s Galley, Hover Construction and also Trailiner in Springfield, Missouri.
