DeWald,Robert A., Sr., Osage Beach, Missouri, age 79, passed away October 27, 2009 in Missouri with his family at his side. Dedicated husband to Arline (nee Berry) DeWald. Beloved father of Gary DeWald (wife, Karen), Debbie Compton (husband, Jim), Robert A. DeWald, Jr., Dawn Davenport (husband, Gaylen), and Tammy Hand (husband, Tim). Dear brother of Theresa Wilfinger; dearest grandfather of Malissa (nee DeWald) Peterson, Jessica DeWald, James Roger (J.R.) Compton, the late Robert A. DeWald, III, Christopher DeWald, Whitney Compton, and Jonathan Compton; dearest step-grandfather of Brette, Jak, and Jace Davenport; and best-friend to his beloved dog Velvet. Also beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. After retiring from Canteen Vending in St. Louis, MO in 1976, Bob moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and operated Sky Harbor Resort with his wife and kids. From there, he ran Bob�s Amusements and Arrow-Lite Signs. Bob has been an active member of the Lion�s Club for over 30 years. He was also involved with the Knights of Columbus and was a volunteer for Lake Regional Hospital and Chamber Active Volunteers. Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Most will also tell you that Bob liked to sing.
