Obituary of Robert Gale Bottger

Robert Gale Bottger, age 76, of Roach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Robert was born February 2, 1933 in Grand Island, Nebraska, a son to Clifford and Lela (Eldringhoff) Bottger Robert was united in marriage on December 20, 1952 to Allena Joy Stovall. Robert attended Grand Island Senior High School then later graduated Hastings College with a degree in finance. He had served his country proudly in the United States Army. He resided for forty years in Omaha, Nebraska where he retired from Big Bear Equipment Company as V.P. and Controller prior to moving to Lake of the Ozarks. Robert appeared in Omaha Community Playhouse productions for ten years. He was a member of Voices of Mel Olson, an Omaha professional choral group. Robert is survived by his wife Joy of the home; son, Douglas Allen and his wife Erica of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter, Robin Ann O�Hara and her husband James of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Sean O�Hara and his wife Amy of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kathryn O�Hara Gasper and her husband Adam of Prairie Village, Kansas, Erin Bottger and Dana Bottger both of Omaha, Nebraska; great granddaughter, Ellen Ann O�Hara of Scottsdale, Arizona; brother Max Bottger and his wife Betty Joy of Lincoln, Nebraska; and brother-in-law Dan Stovall and wife Pat of Sycamore, Illinois, along with several other relatives and many friends. Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
