Obituary of Benjamine Lee Provorse

Benjamin �Ben� Lee Provorse, age 79, of Kaiser, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at his residence. Ben was born April 30, 1930, in Illinois, Michigan, a son to James W. and Annie (Ranshausen) Provorse. Ben joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country during the Korean War He was united in marriage to Mary Seville on October 6, 1992 in Osage Beach, Missouri, and to this union one son, Brian Provorse was born. Ben worked as a self-employed carpenter. In his spare time, he loved to cook and garden. Ben was a member of the North American Fishing Club. More than anything, he dearly loved his family. Ben is survived by his wife Mary, of the home; his son, Brian and his wife Jennifer, of Kaiser, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler and Aubrey; one brother, Frank Provorse and his wife Karen of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Elsie Easton from out of state, along with several other relatives and friends. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, and ten siblings.
