Obituary of Luella Mae Bacon

Luella Mae Bacon, age 86, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Osage Beach Health Care, Osage Beach, Missouri. Luella was born September 16, 1923, in Swea City, Iowa, a daughter to Jacob and Ruby (Becker) Bacon. Luella loved Watching Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed playing golf, working on crossword puzzles, sewing and visiting with family and friends. Her greatest joy however, was playing with her grandchildren and spending time with them. Luella was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Osage Beach. Luella is survived her husband Carroll of the home; two sons, Ronald Bacon and his wife Becky of Osage Beach, Missouri and Daniel Bacon and his wife Patricia of Fairmont, Minnesota; two daughters, Judith Lawrence and her husband Gary of Ft Meyer, Florida and Connie Clark of Boston, Massachusetts; two brothers Tom Fretty and wife Helen of Manley, Iowa, and Jake Fretty and wife Beverly of Fairmont, Minnesota; eight grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Luella was preceded in death by her parents.
